Jobs

Shakespeare Dallas is seeking a Development Manager to join our team.

Come join our team at the Southwest’s premier theater company specializing in the works of Shakespeare! Lead the fundraising strategy that supports fun, accessible indoor and outdoor performances and engaging educational programs for people of all ages and backgrounds.  As we begin planning our landmark 50th season, we’re seeking a development professional who’s looking for a chance to make a difference each day. We offer a casual work culture, generous PTO, an employer-matched investment plan, and an environment that prizes collaboration, autonomy, and innovative ideas. You’ll partner directly with our Executive and Artistic Director and board members to create and carry out a fundraising plan that will allow us to support our staff and serve our community. There may be future opportunities for advancement, in development as well as in other areas of the organization.  We believe that relationship-building is at the heart of development and fundraising, so be prepared to balance time in the office with meetings out in the community. You will have some flexibility, however, including the ability to work remotely some of the time.

Inclusion: Our audiences and the students we serve reflect the diversity of our city. We want our administrative team, contractors, and board of directors to reflect that same diversity. We encourage BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ and applicants from other historically marginalized communities to apply.
