Are your students engaging with the works of William Shakespeare? Shakespeare Dallas is pleased to announce the release of an all-new digital resource available for streaming NOW! This arts education piece is perfect for middle school and high school students as a crash course in all things Shakespearean. With a run time of 50 minutes, our two teaching artists engage with students through word games and interactive opportunities while teaching them the basics of Iambic Pentameter, Rhymed Verse and Prose. Students will also get to see famous scenes from Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth and The Taming of the Shrew.
Another all-new digital resource is now available for streaming. This 55-minute adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is presented in two parts segmented by an intermission. Romeo and Juliet Unlocked includes digital content with quizzes, games and interactive learning tools to deepen your students’ engagement with one of Shakespeare’s most loved tragedies.
This project is made possible by generous support from Arts Midwest, the National Endowment for the Arts, Baird Family Wealth Group and The City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture.
