Summer Camps

Summer camps will take place at Bishop Dunne Catholic School and Genesis Children’s Theatre. We are excited to offer Before & After Care for each summer camp hosted at our Bishop Dunne location.

What Visions Have I Seen!

June 15-19 (9 am- 1 pm)
Camp Location: St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic School located at 1420 Oldgate Ln, Dallas, TX 75218

Grades 2-6

Students will learn the basics of acting, movement, vocal work, stage combat, and improvisation with a focus on Shakespeare. Students will have the opportunity to portray characters from Shakespeare’s plays and learn more about Shakespeare as they prepare for their final performance at Shakespeare in the Park! $215

What Dreams May Come

June 15-19 (9 am- 1 pm)
Camp Location: St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic School located at 1420 Oldgate Ln, Dallas, TX 75218

Grades 7-12

Students will have the opportunity to explore Shakespeare through an in depth study of Shakespeare’s plays. Students will develop their acting, movement, and vocal skills while producing scenes from Shakespeare’s plays for a final performance at Shakespeare in the Park. $215

All the World’s A Stage

June 22-26 (9 am- 3:30 pm)
Camp Location: Parish Episcopal School located at 4101 Sigma Rd, Dallas, TX 75244

Grades 2-6

Students will learn about acting, vocal work, stage combat, and improvisation as they focus on Shakespeare and his works. During this camp students will enjoy learning about and portraying some of Shakespeare’s most famous characters. This play culminates in a final performance at Shakespeare in the Park! $370

Much Ado About Nothing

June 22-26 (10 am- 3:00 pm)
Camp Location: Genesis Children’s Theatre located at 3100 Independence Pkwy #324b Plano, 75075

Grades 7-12

Students will learn about acting, Shakespeare’s language movement, vocal work, stage combat, and improvisation as they portray some of Shakespeare’s most characters and prepare for their final performance at Shakespeare in the Park! $215

Midsummer Madness 

July 6-10 (10 am- 3:00 pm), Before Care (7:30 am – 10 am) After Care (3 pm – 5 pm)
Camp Location: Bishop Dunne Catholic School located at 3900 Rugged Dr. Dallas, 75224

Grades 2-6

During this two week camp students will receive in depth instruction in acting, movement, vocal work, stage combat, and improvisation with a focus on Shakespeare. Students will portray characters from one of Shakespeare’s plays in a final performance at Shakespeare in the Park! $215

The Play’s The Thing 

June 6-10 (10 am- 3:00 pm), Before Care (7:30 am – 10 am) After Care (3 pm – 5 pm) 
Camp Location: Bishop Dunne Catholic School 3900 Rugged Drive Dallas, 75224

Grades 7-12

Students will have the opportunity to explore Shakespeare through an in depth study of one of Shakespeare’s plays. During this camp students will learn about acting, movement, stage combat, vocal work, improvisation, and Shakespeare’s language as they produce a full performance of one of Shakespeare’s plays from start to finish. This play will culminate in a final performance at Shakespeare in the Park! $215
