This summer, Shakespeare Dallas is thrilled to be mounting a series of socially distanced, limited capacity live performances at our beloved venue, Samuell-Grand Amphitheatre. General admission tickets are $20 and children 10 and under always attend free.
16 actors and 16 solo performances inspired by Shakespeare's Hamlet. The catch? Only 24 hours to prepare. Two actors perform each night.
Performances run Thursday through Sunday and begin at 8:15pm each evening. On Sunday, June 6 we will welcome dogs for our Bark at the Park Night.

Written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield. Directed by Raphael Parry. Three actors parody Shakespeare’s entire library of plays in comically shortened form. Featuring Ryan Matthieu Smith, Marti Etheridge and Shawn Gann. Performances run Thursday through Sunday with the final performance on Saturday, July 24. Performances begin at 8:15pm each evening.
On Sunday, July 4 we will have an intermission to enjoy the Independence Day fireworks. On Sunday, July 11 we will welcome dogs for our Bark at the Park Night.
Performing for the series is Brianne Sargent & Friends String Trio, Bobby Sparks, Cure for Paranoia, and The Grays.
Across two evenings, guests will enjoy the sounds of jazz, soul, hip-hop, neoclassical, and more on the Amphitheater lawn. Attendees are encouraged to pack a picnic, including beer or wine for those 21 and up, and bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Gates will open at 7:15 p.m. and the first act will perform at 8:15 p.m.
