Summer Camps

Summer camps will take place at the Covenant School of Dallas located at 7300 Valley View Ln Dallas, TX 75240.

All the World’s a Stage 2017 Summer Camp – June 19-30: 10 am- 3 pm (Grades 2-6)
Students will learn the basics of acting, movement, vocal work, stage combat and improvisation with a focus on Shakespeare. Students will have the opportunity to portray characters from Shakespeare’s plays and learn more about Shakespeare as they prepare for their final performance at Shakespeare in the Park! $300

The Play’s the Thing 2017 Summer Camp – June 19- 30: 10 am- 3 pm (Grades 7-12)
Students will have the opportunity to explore Shakespeare through an in depth study of one of Shakespeare’s plays. Students will develop their acting, movement, and vocal skills while producing a full performance from start to finish. This camp will culminate in a final performance at Shakespeare in the Park! $350

What Dreams May Come 2017 Summer Camp – July 10-14: 10 am- 3 pm (Grades 7-12)
This camp will help prepare students for taking the next step in their acting career through monologue and scene work. Students will develop their classical acting, vocal, stage combat, and movement skills and learn valuable techniques to help them nail school and college auditions. This camp will end in a final showcase performance at Shakespeare in the Park! $200

Midsummer Madness 2017 Summer Camp – July 10- 14: 10 am- 3 pm (Grades 2-6)
Students will learn about theatre, acting, improvisation, stage combat, and theatre games. The focus of this camp will be on Shakespeare’s plays and characters as students portray some of the Shakespeare’s greatest characters in a final performance at Shakespeare in the Park. This camp is suitable for young actors of all levels. $200
