Performance Workshop

Performance Workshops

Performance Workshops combine performance by professional actors with an element of professional training. This is the perfect program to take your students' understanding of Shakespeare and language to the next level. A professional Shakespeare on the Go artist will work with you to develop a program tailored directly to your curriculum. Students will enjoy live performance of scenes from Shakespeare's canon as well as a training session to help decode Shakespeare's language. This program is a great way to have students interact with required grade level reading or it can be used as a great pre-rehearsal preparation.

“The students look for books about Shakespeare in our library. They talk about watching live plays and want to act. They ask me to read them more Shakespeare plays—especially other scenes from Romeo and Juliet.”
