All the World's a Stage
An interactive, high-energy 45-minute performance featuring Shakespeare's greatest hits — A Midsummer Night's Dream and Romeo and Juliet. Suitable for grades 3-6.
All the World’s A Stage
New and improved! All the World’s A Stage is a compilation of works from many of Shakespeare’s plays. Included in this fast paced dynamic 50-minute program are scenes from A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Romeo & Juliet. This lively performance is an exploration of the creation of a Shakespearian play from audition to performance. Students will learn about how actors work on Shakespeare’s text, stage combat, and clowning through demonstration. Volunteers will also be selected from the audience during the performance to help demonstrate what they are learning from the performers.
An ensemble of four portray such memorable characters as Pyramus and Thisbe, Titania, Bottom, the donkey and the star crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet. Although scenes used in this production are abridged, the language remains pure Shakespeare! This is an excellent opportunity to give young students their first taste of The Bard. And the best part is, all you have to do is book us! We'll take care of the rest!
